Paintings are priced according to size (sq.in.), with smaller increases as paintings get into the larger sizes. I have been pricing my work this way since I began selling years ago, following the general trend among professional artists. Many factors, beyond time, materials & frames are taken into consideration in determining price levels (level of education & professional development, experience and awards, show fees and commissions, etc.)
Discounting is not considered good business practice for a professional artist with gallery representation, therefore you will very rarely see my work discounted. Unframed paintings that I feel to be of lesser quality may be available for purchase at open studio events only, and these are priced on a lower scale.
For several years, I have not increased prices on my work. However, I do intend to apply an approximately 3% increase on all framed paintings in 2018, and make a few other adjustments. The price increases will go into effect on February 1, 2018 and will be announced in my Newsletter prior to that date.
All paintings will arrive ready to display and enjoy. Oil paintings are varnished and framed. Pastel paintings are framed under Museum Glass® with spacers (no mats unless otherwise specified). Fine art gallery-quality wood frames have been carefully selected for each piece, to show the artwork at its best. When possible, a photo of the painting in its frame is included with the item in the online gallery.
If you have questions about specific frames or if you prefer a different frame than the one pictured, please contact me before purchasing.
Unframed paintings will now only be available to the public at open studio or other special events or by appointment.
I accept secure online payment via PayPal. You may purchase through PayPal as a guest without setting up an account.

Paintings will be shipped by UPS, other items will be sent Priority Mail. I will normally ship the item within a few days after receiving payment and an email will be sent to notify you that your package has shipped. Your exquisite pieces are here and I couldn’t be more pleased. They are so beautiful. I will have them framed nicely and hang them proudly in my house. Thank you for these great works. —S.B., Texas.
Wanted to let you know I received “Golden Reflections” and “Softly December” safe and sound. Thank you for the beautiful cards you included. These pieces are so beautiful. Patty’s favorite is Golden Reflections and mine…well I love them both, but Softly December took my breath away. I am a beginner student at Virtual Art Academy, an online course and community, hoping to someday approximate what you do with such apparent ease. You’ve got your 10,000 hours in! I hope you live long and capture with your paint many more serene and pensive moments… So beautiful. Thanks. —J.R., Tennessee
I was looking at your work on Friday and loved a little landscape I bought. I rarely have the means to buy art work, and only buy what I really love when I can afford it. I looked for a long time at all the paintings in the show and liked a couple of others. But once I saw that I kept coming back to it and thinking ” it’s perfect” it’s a perfect little gem! And it’s true. I hung your painting where I can see it in my living room and feel very happy to have it! Thank you so much. —L.L., Wyoming.
Thank you so much for your gorgeous calendar! And you even delivered it!! I am looking at “Off in the Distance”, one of my favorites, along with “Billowing” and I also love “Patina”. It will be inspirational to me all year long! —L.C., Colorado.
I really enjoy following you. You make Art cool! Best regards —D.C, Colorado
